Delete your Jaben account
You can delete your account yourself at any time, in the Jaben app, the Jaben Partner app or on this website. It takes a minute and needs a code sent to your phone.
How to delete
- Sign in to the app or the website with your mobile number.
- Open Profile, then Privacy and data.
- Tap Delete my account and type the word shown (মুছুন or DELETE).
- Enter the 6-digit code we send to your phone. You are signed out on every device.
When it cannot be done yet
A booking that is still going on must be finished or cancelled first, and a driver must first pay any dues shown in the app.
What is deleted
At once: your name, phone number, e-mail, profile photo, addresses, emergency contacts, saved places and people, favourite drivers, phone sign-ins and driving licence details. Your face data is erased and your identity photos are removed from storage straight away.
What we must keep
Records of trips and payments are kept for 6 years because tax and payment law require it, without your name or phone number on them. Chat messages are erased 180 days after the trip. A note that the account was deleted stays in our security log.
Cannot sign in?
If you lost the phone number, call us or use the contact page. We check that the account is yours and delete it for you within 7 days.
