Terms of use for customers

Jaben is a marketplace. We connect you with verified car owners and drivers; the trip itself is provided by the partner you choose. 1. You post a trip. Verified partners nearby send you offers. You choose one; nothing is charged until you do. 2. To confirm a booking you pay a confirmation amount (500 Tk, or the full price if it is lower) in the app. It is counted towards your fare. 3. You pay the remaining fare to the driver by cash or mobile money when the trip ends, unless the booking says otherwise. 4. Phone numbers are not shared before or during a booking. Use in-app chat and calls. Messages that try to share contact details are blocked. 5. Cancellation refunds follow the cancellation policy shown before you pay. 6. Do not ask a driver to carry illegal goods or to drive unsafely. We may suspend accounts that put others at risk. 7. We keep your identity documents encrypted and use them only to verify you and to keep the platform safe.
